Business Systems Analyst II - REMOTE

Responsibilities Create and maintain User Stories and Requirements for projects, map stories to features, define acceptance criteria, and collaborate with Product Owners on traceability, refinement, and epic & feature development. Prioritize backlog items and engage in backlog refinement sessions with the Product Owner. Adhere to Agile principles (Scrum or Kanban) and support cross‑functional team collaboration, fostering open communication in meetings and workshops. Translate technical terminology between Product Owners, QA analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding. Document business, functional, non‑functional, and technical specifications, and support audit compliance. Conduct independent research and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights for the product owner and stakeholders. Write simple SQL queries, map data elements, and build data maps to identify data sources and flows in an ETL environment. Build and maintain a repository of project artifacts using SharePoint, Jira, or other document‑management solutions. Lead department initiatives with limited supervision and mentor junior team members. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience. 3‑5 years of experience, with 3+ years of SQL querying and 1+ year of business process mapping. Experience with Azure Development Ops (ADO) or Jira is a plus. Practical knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft SQL, .NET and/or MySQL, Java, and web‑based applications. Agile/Scrum/DevOps certifications strongly preferred. Experience planning, facilitating UAT, and managing project enhancements. Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills. Ability to perform detailed data mapping and modeling, and to create network topology and process flow diagrams. Knowledge of API integration.
