Litigation Associate IP Attorney - Junior level - elite firm!

Location: Washington, DC Salary: $225,000 to $260,000 base plus bonus

What You Will Do:

As a member of this premier litigation team, you will take on immediate responsibility and play a meaningful role in cases spanning all stages of patent litigation. The work is challenging, fast-paced, and intellectually rigorous, offering unmatched exposure to cutting-edge technology and precedent-setting disputes. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Researching and drafting pleadings, discovery, and motion papers Managing fact and expert discovery Supporting trial and appellate strategy in complex patent disputes 
• Working closely with senior litigators on matters before federal courts and international tribunals 

The ideal candidate is a junior litigation associate with strong patent litigation fundamentals and a deep interest in mechanical technologies. 

Requirements: 

1 to 3 years of solid patent litigation experience 

• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and motion practice 
• Background in the mechanical arts with exposure to computer technology, coding, and or signal processing 
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
