Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Neuro/Trauma

Schedule:
- Shift scheduling: self-scheduling
- Patient ratios: 2:1 days, 2:1 nights, 2:1 weekends

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: Not specified
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license required
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required
- Previous community hospital experience required
- Trauma Level II experience required (Level I preferred)
- Travel RN experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, LA City Fire Card (must be within last 30 days)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for high-acuity neuro and trauma patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
- Manage ventilator support and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 12 hours
- Parking: free
- Must disclose any license/background issues at time of submission
- RTO restrictions must be noted at time of submittal
- Holiday requirement: must commit to working 3 of 5 specified holidays
