Speech Language Therapist

This position includes an $8,000 supplement if you hold a valid State License or $4,000 if you hold a valid State Certificate as a Speech Language Therapist.

Required Qualifications:

1. Currently possess or eligibility to receive a valid Temporary or Professional Florida Educator's Certificate in Speech-Language Impaired, K-12, (Bachelor's Degree). and ability and commitment to obtain Master's Degree in Speech Pathology OR
2. Hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and have a valid Florida license in Speech-Language Pathology.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Current member of the American Speech-Language/Hearing Association (ASHA)
2. Experience in curriculum development, IEP development, diagnostic and prescriptive training.

BACKGROUND SCREENING:


All prospective employees must submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04 and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. The background check will include, but is not limited to, fingerprinting for statewide criminal history records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, national criminal history records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation, local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies, and a search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years.
