Beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 4, 2027, this full-time, onsite position is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to make a difference in students’ academic and functional success. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic educational staff to support a diverse caseload of 45–60 students, adapting to varying service minutes and grade level needs throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license through the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
• Experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents in school environments
• Knowledge of IEP development, therapy documentation, and treatment planning for students with varying abilities
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student growth
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a flexible, team-oriented mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students, focusing on skill development and academic participation
• Assess student needs and determine appropriate interventions within IEP guidelines
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings as needed
• Educate staff and families on strategies to reinforce therapy goals in the classroom and at home
• Modify interventions and support strategies to meet evolving needs across grade levels
