For more information, visit: .Job SummaryThe Senior Manager of NPI is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end product introduction lifecycle for multiple product families, from development handoff through volume production. This role owns NPI execution strategy, builds and leads a high‑performing NPI organization, and partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure predictable, scalable, and high‑quality product launches.This is a senior leadership role requiring strong technical depth, operational excellence, people leadership, and the ability to influence across functions and geographies.Key ResponsibilitiesNPI Strategy & ExecutionOwn and drive the NPI strategy across multiple concurrent product families, ensuring on‑time, on‑cost, and high‑quality product launchesLead full NPI lifecycle including development handoff, pilot builds, qualification, ramp, and high‑volume manufacturingEstablish and continuously improve NPI processes, readiness criteria, and phase‑gate reviewsAnticipate and mitigate risks related to yield, manufacturability, test coverage, supply chain, and qualityTechnical & Cross‑Functional LeadershipAct as the senior NPI interface to Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Test, Reliability, and OperationsDrive DFM/DFT/DFA alignment early in product developmentLead root‑cause analysis and resolution of complex technical and manufacturing issuesEnsure production readiness across internal and external manufacturing sites, including OSAT and foundry partnersPeople & Organizational LeadershipHire, develop, and manage a team of NPI engineers and managersSet clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans for the organizationBuild scalable organizational structures to support growing product and business needsMentor senior engineers and managers; foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and execution excellenceProgram & Business OwnershipPartner with Product Management and Program Management on product roadmap execution and long‑range planningOwn NPI cost targets, ramp plans, and manufacturing KPIs for assigned product linesProvide executive‑level status reporting on NPI execution, risks, and mitigationsSupport customer engagements as the senior NPI and manufacturing subject‑matter expertContinuous ImprovementDrive continuous improvement initiatives across yield, cycle time, cost, and scalabilityStandardize best practices across product families and manufacturing partnersIntroduce data‑driven decision‑making and operational dashboardsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)10+ years of experience in NPI, manufacturing, or operations engineering in semiconductor or complex hardware environments5+ years of people management experience, including hiring and managing senior engineers and managersProven track record of successfully launching multiple products into volume productionDeep understanding of manufacturing processes, yield learning, test, reliability, and qualificationStrong cross‑functional leadership skills with the ability to influence without authorityPreferred QualificationsExperience managing NPI across multiple sites and external manufacturing partnersPrior ownership of NPI strategy for a product line or technology platformExperience presenting to senior executives and driving alignment at the leadership levelBackground in high‑reliability or precision products (e.g., semiconductors, MEMS, RF, or automotive/industrial devices)Leadership ExpectationsOperates as a business and execution leader, not just a functional expertThinks at the product family and portfolio level, balancing near‑term execution with long‑term scalabilityBuilds teams and systems that scale with company growthSets a high bar for execution discipline, transparency, and accountabilityCompensation Range:At SiTime, we believe great work deserves great rewards. We offer a comprehensive and highly competitive compensation package designed to attract top talent. The annual base salary range for this role is $188,300.00 – $269,280.00. The final offer is determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and training.In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to the achievement of innovation goals—reflecting our commitment to recognizing meaningful impact.
