- **Job Description** **MEDICAL ASSISTANT COHORT PROGRAM** **Launch Your Healthcare Career with Saint Luke's!** **Next Cohort Start Date: January 11**Are you passionate about helping others and interested in a career in healthcare? Saint Luke's is offering a **10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program** designed to provide the education, hands-on training, and support needed to become a successful Medical Assistant. ** Featured Full-Time Opportunity**Upon successful completion of the cohort, participants will transition into a **full-time Medical Assistant position with Cardiology Plaza**. This opportunity allows you to apply the skills learned during the program while becoming an integral part of a primary care team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. ** What You'll Learn**Participants will receive comprehensive training in: Medical Terminology Anatomy & Physiology Body Systems Pharmacology Medication Administration Patient Safety & Infection Control Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Customer Service & Patient Care Excellence** Program Structure****Weeks 1-5:** Classroom instruction and skills development**Weeks 5-8:** Hands-on clinical training with an instructor**Weeks 9-10:** Orientation and training within your assigned home clinic alongside a Success Coach** Attendance Requirement**This is an **intensive full-time training program**. Attendance is **mandatory Monday through Friday throughout the entire 10-week cohort**.
