 Average Daily Case Volume: 25–30 cases per day

o Vascular hybrid cases

Call Expectations
 Average Call Frequency: 4–5 shifts per month
 A wide variety of cases may present while on call; flexibility is essential
Equipment & Technology
 Extensive inventory across multiple specialties
 Vendors are present across many service lines
 Agency RNs are expected to be comfortable working with a broad range of OR
equipment and devices
RN Role Expectations
 OR RNs are expected to:
o Take call
o Support multiple service lines as needed
o Maintain a strong foundational OR skill set to safely support a variety of case
types
 OR RNs will not be expected to assist in other departments unless they have prior
experience
