Staff AccountantLocation: Nazareth, PAASGCO® engineers, manufactures, and distributes a wide array of conveyor and screening components, all specifically designed for the above ground and underground mining, aggregate, cement, recycling, bulk shipping terminals, pulp and paper, recycling, food processing and other bulk material handling industries. ASGCO helps build America and the World's Infrastructure.ASGCO is seeking a Staff Accountant with a positive attitude that excels in working with a team and in conjunction with the Controller and Assistant Controller. Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of private accounting experience. ASGCO® offers a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package which includes options for healthcare coverage, 401(k) plan, vacation and paid holidays.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Preparation of timely and accurate customer billingsMaintain underlying accounting system data to ensure invoices are calculated accurately.Provide necessary documentation, research, and respond to questions or concerns from customers regarding invoices.Ensure accounts receivable and customer records are always up-to-date and accurately reflect invoices, payments, balances, customer information, etc.Receive payments through various methods (checks, credit card, ACH, and wire payments) and promptly apply payments to respective customer accounts.Process customer credit memos.Oversee Return Goods Authorization process.Work with and provide support to Controller and Assistant Controller.Maintain accurate records and files.Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.Solid organizational and time management skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Dedicated, reliable, and responsible employee with the highest level of integrityAdditional tasks and special projects as assignedMinimum Requirements:5+ years recent accounting experience.Bachelor 's degree in accounting.Manufacturing experience preferred.Thorough understanding of internal accounting controls.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Working knowledge of JD Edwards World and Enterprise One Software.Opportunities:ASGCO offers a competitive base salary with outstanding commission potential and a progressive benefits package, including 401(k) and company match*, college tuition plans, health care, as well as an opportunity for professional growth.Is it Right for You?We are looking for reliable, highly motivated, qualified individuals with a good track record, someone looking for a future within the company, and are willing to put the time in.
