Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

$2325.60/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP setting, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for cardiac patients. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols throughout various interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for cardiac interventions.
  
  
• 
  Operate and monitor advanced imaging and procedural equipment such as GE and Philips systems.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, stenting, Impella, IABP, and other interventional techniques.
  
  
• 
  Manage patient recovery and post-procedure care, ensuring proper documentation in Meditech and MERGE EMR systems.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a sterile environment, adhere to dress code standards, and follow unit policies.
  
  
• 
  Provide on-call coverage, approximately one week per month, supporting 24/7 patient care needs.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license with 2+ years of experience in a Cath Lab or EP unit.
  
  
• 
  Proven ability to perform procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, and peripheral angiograms.
  
  
• 
  Ability to take call and work flexible shifts, including weekends.
  
  
• 
  BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  
  
• 
  Strong interpersonal skills with a relaxed, laid-back personality.
  
  
• 
  Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
