Client Overview

This company builds refrigeration equipment used in grocery stores and food retail settings across the country. The Colonial Heights facility puts together cases and components that end up keeping food cold on store shelves nationwide.

• Hand and power tool use
• Reading and following work orders and build instructions
• Measuring tools (rulers, tape measures, squares)

What You'll Do

• Build refrigeration cases and sub assemblies including tanks, canopies, base frames, hardware kits, and plenums
• Read and follow work orders to identify correct parts and placement
• Use hand and power tools to fasten parts together with bolts, screws, clips, or rivets
• Measure and check parts using rulers, tape measures, and squares
• Move between different workstations as production needs change
• Work as part of an assembly team to build units start to finish
• Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment used

What We Need From You

• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Able to stand and walk for most of the workday
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
• Comfortable reading and following written work orders and instructions
• Clear communicator who can work well with a team

Preferred / Bonus

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
• Familiarity with production line environments
