Pay: $2,091-$2,520 | Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts

In this role, you'll assess and reassess patients, respond to changing needs, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver individualized care. You'll help patients and families understand their care, support effective pain management, and contribute to a safe environment throughout their stay.

• Required: At least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Required: Postpartum and nursery experience.
• Required: Active Ohio or compact nursing license at the time of submission.
• Required: Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, plus Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Complete head-to-toe assessments and reassessments, including pain assessments, and adjust care plans based on patient response.
• Provide age-appropriate care and administer medications safely according to patient needs and established medication-safety practices.
• Educate patients and families, evaluate their understanding, and include them in care planning as appropriate.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams while maintaining respectful, professional relationships.
• Document care according to current standards, use equipment safely, and maintain required annual competencies.
• Remain flexible, organized, and effective in a fast-paced clinical environment while working within the scope of licensure.
