Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Palestine, TX | 4/3 Split Schedule
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - State of Texas
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- 2+ years of nursing assistant experience
- Appropriate active license
- Assist patients with activities of daily living , including serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, positioning, and providing hydration
- Provide adjunct care such as administering enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice/heat treatments, sitz baths, therapeutic baths , and applying restraints
- Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs , monitoring weight, testing urine, and recording intake/output
- Enhance patient comfort by transporting patients, responding to call lights, and reporting observations to nursing supervisors
- Document all actions by completing required forms, logs, reports, and records
- Follow all policies and procedures to maintain smooth work operations
- Protect patient confidentiality and uphold organizational values
- Adhere to professional standards , hospital policies, federal/state/local regulations, and JCAHO requirements
- Maintain job knowledge through continuing education, professional publications, and licensure upkeep
- Support the nursing department by taking ownership of new tasks and seeking opportunities to add value
- 4/3 split schedule
