Job Description Mechanical Assembly Technician No travel. No service calls. No customers. Just steady, hands-on work. Lawler Manufacturing is hiring a Mechanical Assembly Technician with soldering experience who enjoys building things and working with piping, fittings, valves, and mechanical components. Monday through Friday | 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Work indoors in a clean, quiet manufacturing facility. No weekends and no mandatory overtime. What You Will Do Solder piping and components Measure and cut pipe Assemble piping, fittings, tubing, valves, and mechanical components Make basic wiring connections Follow diagrams and assembly instructions Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools Check your work for accuracy and quality Assist with valve assembly when production needs require it What You Need Previous soldering experience is required Strong mechanical aptitude Experience using hand and power tools Ability to measure accurately and follow diagrams Dependable attendance and attention-to-detail Plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, or basic wiring experience is preferred. If you have worked as a plumber, HVAC technician, pipefitter, installer, or in another hands-on mechanical trade and want to leave the road and service calls behind, your skills may transfer well to this Mechanical Assembly Technician position. Physical and Work Requirements This position requires standing for extended periods, frequent use of hands and tools, bending and reaching, and the ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds. Employees must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
