Job Overview Position: Veterinary Surgeon (Board‑Certified or residency‑trained in Small Animal Surgery) Location: Monterey, CA. BluePearl is a fully AAHA‑certified, multi‑specialty practice offering a state‑of‑the‑art facility. Responsibilities Lead the growth and development of the Surgery department. Perform surgical procedures for small animal patients. Collaborate with internal Medicine, Cardiology, and other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care. Mentor and guide junior veterinary staff. Participate in academic research and clinical studies. Qualifications Board‑Certified Veterinary Surgeon or residency‑trained in Small Animal Surgery. Experience performing a wide array of surgical cases. Strong communication and leadership skills. Commitment to collaborative medicine and continuous learning.
