Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical examinations and a meticulous review of their medical histories
• Aid in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical issues through the interpretation of diagnostic imaging and lab results
• Work harmoniously alongside surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide crucial support during surgeries, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and assisting with instrument transfer
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, patient education, and discharge planning

Education

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program
• Preferably, completion of clinical rotations centered on surgical practices

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted certification as a PA-C
• Valid BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant

Skills
