Medical Staff Coordinator
Job Essentials- Ensures credential department is compliance with regulatory agencies. Develops and implements policies and procedures for the credentials process. Responsible for leading, coordinating, monitoring, maintaining the initial appointment and reappointment to the medical staff processes. Conduct thorough background investigation research and primary source verification for physician appointment to the medical staff. Assist with completion of FPPE an OPPE reviews required for appointment and reappointment to the medical staff. Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the credentialing process. Submits and retrieves National Practitioner Database reports. Maintains verification letters for outside requests and responds to inquires. Maintains all insurance database systems, ie CAQH, IMPACT. Pay Range $25 to $39 Benefits
