Job Description
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) who is dedicated to providing quality patient care in a dynamic acute care environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic nursing.

Job Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and effective care.
Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
Assist with patient positioning, surgical site preparation, and instrumentation during procedures.
Participate in the educational process for patients and their families.
Possibility to cover one night shift as needed during the contract period.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
Experience working with trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic patients required.
BLS certification is required.
Must be flexible and able to float between similar units as needed.
Weekend availability is required.
This role requires participation in on-call duties, being distributed equally among staff.

Work Schedule

Shift: Day shift, 3 twelve-hour shifts
Variable start times available: 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM
RTO (Requests Time Off) must be submitted at the time of application.
