Afternoon Babysitter for 8-Year-Old

We are seeking an experienced dyslexia tutor to babysit our 8-year-old daughter on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Eugene, OR. The ideal candidate is skilled in evidence-based, structured literacy instruction, focusing on phonemic awareness, pattern correction, decoding, reading fluency, automaticity, and reading comprehension. Experience with dyslexia interventions such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Barton, SPIRE, or similar programs is preferred. Our daughter benefits from patience, encouragement, and support with attention and executive functioning challenges. We are looking for someone warm, engaging, and able to build both skills and confidence in reading. Note: This job is available in partnership with Upwards.
