About the Role:
Volcanos Bar and Bistro in Gary, IN, is looking for a talented and passionate Mixologist to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities:

• Craft and serve classic and original cocktails with precision, creativity, and consistency
• Develop and contribute to seasonal cocktail menus and specialty drink programs
• Engage guests with knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional customer service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station at all times
• Monitor and manage bar inventory, including spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
• Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining and bar experience

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mixologist, Bartender, or similar role in a bar or restaurant setting
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and classic cocktail techniques
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop original cocktail recipes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• BASSET or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification preferred
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol in the state of Indiana
