Now Hiring: Receiving Specialist – 1st Shift Warehouse Receiving & Inventory Operations

Openwork is hiring an experienced Receiving Specialist for a manufacturing operation in Oklahoma City, OK 73179 . This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting daily warehouse and production operations.

Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of receiving experience, experience working with MRP systems, and current forklift certification .

Position at a Glance

Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73179
Pay: $18.50–$19.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Start time: 6:00 AM
Availability: Must be available to work until at least 4:30 PM daily
Shift: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire
Overtime: As needed based on business needs

What You'll Be Doing

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and shipments
• Verify materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documents
• Count, label, organize, and properly store incoming materials
• Enter receiving and inventory information into the MRP system
• Maintain accurate inventory and receiving records
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials
• Assist with inventory counts and material tracking
• Operate a forklift to move and organize materials
• Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, production, and shipping teams
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area
• Follow company receiving, inventory, and safety procedures

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Minimum 2 years of receiving experience 
• MRP system experience 
• Current forklift certification and forklift experience 
• Experience verifying purchase orders, packing slips, and incoming materials
• Basic computer and inventory data-entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
• Ability to communicate and understand English
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
• Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
• Must be available to work until at least 4:30 PM daily
