Key Responsibilities of the X-Ray Technician

• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment
• Evaluate images for technical quality
• Float between departments as necessary
• Collaborate and perform competency check-offs with students

Requirements of the X-Ray Technician

• BLS and ARRT certifications
• Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program
• Minimum 1 year level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma level 2 facility
• Comfortable learning pediatric and neonatal care
