Job Title

BASIC PURPOSE: Create extraordinary cocktails and enhance bar program.

Essential Functions

• Regularly review menu, make updates and enhancements, create cocktails with a culinary eye, suggest unique cocktails to guests, and train other staff members.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards.
• Develop and maintain a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar including liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, specialty drinks, etc, and ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending, etc. of drinks.
• Complete daily requisitions, pick up, verify, and put away all liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks and food items used for the bar areas. Keep bar fully stocked with all glassware, silverware, napkins, straws, etc.
• Maintain a complete working knowledge of food menu items and their ingredients and preparation, take orders and ensure proper service of all food items to bar guests.
• The ability to recognize and address potential intoxicated, disruptive or undesirable guests, involving management and/or security when necessary.

Qualification Requirements

• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• One to two years creating cocktails and bar menus.
• Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks.
