Therapy Scheduler, Arizona Inpatient Hospital, PRN Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital-Arizona - Phoenix, AZ 85054 Overview Position Type PRN Job Shift Day Category Administrative & Support Services Description The Therapy Scheduler is responsible for making and managing the schedule for therapist on all units within our Brooks Bartram Hospital. Hours: PRN, as needed Job Requirements: Maintains confidentiality of information Adheres to policies and procedures specific to patient rights Maintains a clean and safe environment; identifies and reports hazards. Meets all requirements for mandatory in-services. Adheres to policies/procedures specific to universal precautions. Adheres to policies regarding attendance, conduct, grooming, and dress code. Promotes a positive image of the hospital to outside agencies and the public. Participates in performance improvement activities as needed Exhibits excellent service to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers Shows courtesy, compassion and respect. Responsibilities: Responsible for the data entry of all inpatient therapy appointments (PT, OT, SLP, and TR), including, making all necessary changes and cancellations. Responsible for managing e-mail requests from therapists and nursing. Responsible for the data entry of all follow up medical appointments that occur during the inpatient stay Responsible for incorporating patient preferences into the schedule Holiday Scheduling Responsibilities: Scheduling of all inpatient therapies (PT, OT, SLP, and TR). Responsible for data entry of all inpatient therapy (inclusive of above) appointments. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. 2 years of experience as administrative assistant or scheduler within the medical, service or hospitality fields. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Hours: PRN, as needed Location: Arizona Inpatient Hospital at 18500 64th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85259 Compensation: Experience, education and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
