Physical Therapist Assistant - Travel

Location: Portland, Oregon

Start Date: 08-05-2026

End Date: 11-04-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver therapeutic interventions and exercises as outlined in the PT plan of care
Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team
Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and facility standards

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active state PTA license or ability to obtain
Ability to follow treatment plans and work with interdisciplinary teams
Strong communication and patient care skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and treatment plan implementation
Patient care and patient education expertise
Documentation and compliance best practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
