Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Muhlbauer, Inc., headquartered in Newport News, Virginia, seeks a Software Engineer to work at unanticipated location(s) in the U.S. Will develop and customize software for semiconductor machines. Your tasks:Develop and test software for Mühlbauer’s semiconductor applications;Help produce semiconductor software for Muhlbauer customers;Obtain input from customers to enhance the company’s software development process;Provide acceptance and software training for Mühlbauer’s semiconductor systems at customer’s sites;Provide software support service for customers; andComplete appropriate written documentation and feedback for service interventions. Your Profile:Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent foreign degree and two years of relevant post-bachelor experience in developing and installing software for industrial machines and providing software engineering support to customers, including training and servicing. Required experience must include the following:Development and implementation of user interfaces;Development and implementation of software Uptime Analysis tools;Production support in high-volume production environment;Software testing; andExperience with the following:Microsoft Visual Studio Professional for C, C++, C# programming and debuggingMicrosoft Azure for TFS code server managementTwinCAT PLC control for Beckhoff developmentTwinCAT system manager for Beckhoff application and debuggingEnterprise architect or Microsoft Visio for software block diagramOPC server for interface between machine and GUIICE and GEM for SECS/GEM applicationAnyDesk, Teamviewer for remote supportEither travelling to unanticipated worksites (up to 50% in U.S.) or relocation to long-term project might be required.
