Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience who can work independently across both CT and X-ray modalities in a 137-bed acute care hospital.

Details

• Work in the Imaging Department, covering both CT and X-ray
• Varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends, typically 12-hour shifts from 7A-7P or 7P-7A
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Float between X-ray and CT as needed
• All patient populations served, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric
• Uses GE CT Revolution and a mix of GE and Siemens X-ray rooms
• 137-bed acute care hospital and Joint Commission accredited Primary Stroke Center
• Level 2 Nursery on-site
• Services include cardiology, ortho, ophthalmology, general surgery, OBGYN, ED, gastro, hospitalist services, nephrology, hematology, urology, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, and wound care

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be able to work independently in both CT and X-ray
• ARRT certification required
• RT and CT certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• AHA certifications required
• Active licensure required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Cheerful, team-oriented personality with a patient-centric approach to care
• Must be able to work collaboratively with the imaging team
• Scrubs required in any color
• Orientation held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
