Accounting Manager

We're partnering with a growing financial services organization that is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations and oversee a team of accounting professionals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of leadership, financial reporting, process improvement, and hands-on accounting responsibilities. The position offers exposure to both domestic and international accounting activities while partnering closely with executive finance leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Manage and develop a team of accounting staff
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Support internal and external audits
• Coordinate accounting activities across multiple international entities
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Accounting leadership experience with direct reports
• Strong financial reporting and month-end close experience
• Sage ERP experience strongly preferred
• CPA or Master's degree is a plus
• Financial services experience is helpful but not required

Location: Greater Cleveland Area

Schedule: Hybrid after onboarding period
