Administrative Assistant Sr Specialist

Overview This position will provide administrative professional support to the Vice‑President and General Manager, and the Vice‑President F‑16 Program within the Integrated Fighter Group Executive Program Office. Diversified responsibilities will require the ability to resolve priorities in a constantly changing, dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing schedules, calendars and e‑mail accounts via MS Outlook; effectively coordinating travel arrangements, processing expense reports and credit card reconciliation; reviewing and editing correspondence; and handling other general office duties. Will manage and screen telephone calls for the VPs and be able to refer calls and emails appropriately. Will work with LM Security in reserving classified rooms for program meetings. Ability to work independently in preparing correspondence and provide administrative review of documents. Must be able to interact professionally with Aeronautics Senior Leadership Team and with all levels of customer, company and program internal/external management and other personnel. Will be expected to deal with sensitive data and maintain confidential materials. This individual must be agile in multi‑tasking as well as be flexible and able to focus in a busy area and with other executives. Must maintain confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive personnel data. Basic Qualifications Must be able to execute effective time management skills and interface with executives in a professional manner due to the nature of the position. Must possess the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced and dynamic environment; multi‑tasking, prioritization and initiative are required. Must have excellent computer skills, including high skill level in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and with LM Systems (Concur Expense Reporting and Traveler’s Suitcase) used in this position. Candidate must have strong communication/interpersonal skills to effectively interact with executives as well as experience using Live link, Sharepoint, Teams chat, and Meeting/Video Teleconferencing. Desired Skills Use personal initiative and proactive approach to formalize processes and streamline operations within Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
