Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care Registered Nurse

Location: New Jersey

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 07:00 - 19:30. Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday) required.

Job Description: The Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care Registered Nurse will provide critical care nursing for neonatal and pediatric patients in a high-acuity setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing complex medical conditions, delivering individualized care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Implement and manage ventilator and BiPAP therapy.
• Conduct blood gas collection and respond to code situations.
• Assist with in-house patient transports and perform chest physiotherapy.
• Float between Pediatric and NICU units based on facility needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience, with direct experience in PICU and NICU required.
• Active New Jersey RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required (may be obtained onsite).
• NBRC certification is mandatory.
