*Schedule:* Monday - Friday | 8:30AM – 5:00PM (Occasional weekends as needed)

*Location: *Onsite with 1-day remote from home per week.

*Pay: *Starting from $85,000 - (Salary open to discussion)

Casa Loma College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced *Sonography Instructor; Abdomen *to help shape the future of diagnostic medical sonography education. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, possess proficiency in Microsoft Office, and incorporate technology into instruction. You will also work with diverse faculty, staff, and students in a collaborative learning environment. *WHAT YOU WILL DO:*

The Sonography Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction, assisting students with course material, and facilitating hands-on training in the lab. The ideal candidate is committed to student success, knowledgeable in ultrasound imaging techniques, and skilled in fostering an interactive learning environment.

* Prepare and set up skills lab exercises and competencies.
* Coordinate with faculty to ensure lab equipment and supplies are available as needed.
* Assist students in understanding course material and using ultrasound equipment.
* Provide hands-on practice opportunities in the lab.
* Offer tutoring support for coursework and technical skills.
* Maintain lab cleanliness and ensure a safe working environment.
* Teach assigned classes according to course syllabi and institutional guidelines.
* ·Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate course records.
* Participate in curriculum review, instructional material selection, and program assessment activities.
* Stay current with industry advancements and integrate innovative teaching methods

*WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:*

*Work Experience*

* *Minimum of 3 years of occupational experience* in diagnostic medical sonography or a closely related field (education).

*Required Skills*

* Minimum of an Associate’s Degree from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or a related field.
* Active certification, license, or other designations as required by local, state, or federal regulations.
* An ARDMS AB registry
* Experience in ultrasound imaging and current trends in the healthcare industry.

*Preferred Skills*

* Teaching experience in online and/or residential classroom settings preferred.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
* Experience utilizing online teaching platforms and instructional technologies.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
