Commercial Director, LUMAKRAS Brand Marketing

Commercial Director, LUMAKRAS Brand Marketing Oversee strategy development and execution of LUMAKRAS in its Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) indication, ensuring high impact differentiation and future commercial strategy across indications. Key Responsibilities Shape the brand strategy for the next phase post‑launch in collaboration with the brand team, Brand Lead and cross‑functional partners. Develop promotional tactics —work with market research and agency partners to uncover insights and translate them into compelling unbranded and branded marketing collateral. Manage the evolution of HCP messaging : oversee continuous improvement of messaging and communications strategy. Lead peer‑to‑peer strategy : shape the strategy and oversee execution of the speaker bureau, including operations and content alignment with strategic goals. Collaborate with key partners —Sales leadership, MAC partners, Medical, Payer/Access, Corporate Communications, operational teams, global, and commercial data analytics & insight—to ensure connectivity on brand strategy, marketing and sales execution across stakeholders. Engage with customers , including opinion leaders via conferences and individual interactions to gain input into marketing priorities and tactics. Partner with sales lead to ensure strategic and execution connectivity; train sales teams on marketing resources and strategy. Represent in organizational initiatives : act as a representative in initiatives designed to drive new capabilities and share best practices to reach and engage with HCPs. Ensure compliance : manage internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of materials to ensure responsible and compliant communications. Manage budgets : oversee budgets and monitor performance to meet brand goals, ensuring cost‑effective delivery of all programs. Develop the team : hire, retain, and coach direct reports; build a culture of dedication, accountability, and innovation. Engage senior leadership : present strategic and marketing plans and participate in performance reviews. Basic Qualifications Doctorate degree and 4 years of marketing experience Master’s degree and 6 years of marketing experience Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of marketing experience Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, MD) in marketing, healthcare management, scientific discipline, or related field Significant biotech pharmaceutical industry experience, especially in oncology, hematology, or rare disease Strong understanding of the oncology marketplace, key trends, barriers and opportunities Experience in account marketing, sales, or related field Experience partnering effectively with sales and account management teams Analytical ability to translate data into insights and actions Experience with companion diagnostics market assets Ability to translate market research and emerging data into commercial implications Knowledge of promotions legal/regulatory environment, MAC experience, and compliance SOPs Entrepreneurial mindset and strong judgment with high ethical standards Excellent communication skills and self‑awareness of leadership style Agility and autonomy to lead workstreams independently while collaborating effectively Exceptional cross‑functional leadership, motivation, influencing and alignment skills Collaborative and inquisitive mindset; ability to challenge thinking and devise innovative solutions Ownership of projects from end‑to‑end and active contribution to the team Benefits Retirement and savings plan with generous company contributions Group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts Discretionary annual bonus program; sales‑based incentive plan for field sales representatives Stock‑based long‑term incentives Award‑winning time‑off plans Flexible work models where possible Equal Opportunity & Accommodation Statement Amgen is an Equal Opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other basis protected by applicable law.
