Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support a 300-bed children's hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. The position offers a contract duration of 13 weeks with the potential for variable shifts, making it suitable for candidates who are flexible and ready to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily tasks.
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize medication therapy.
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize EPIC information technology systems for documentation and communication.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid PA pharmacist license required.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience or completion of a residency preferred.
