Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced General Manager. This is an opportunity to oversee a unique boutique marina (confidential) that is situated along Connecticut's coast and to put your personal touch on elevating the entire operation to a higher level of customer service. The marina offers wet slips, haul out, parts and service, outboard engine sales and service, swimming pool, an active boater community and lifestyle, a ship's store among other amenities. The General Manager oversees the daily operations and financial performance of the marina. Responsibilities include managing occupancy, service, guest engagement, staff, budgets, financial reporting, facility, equipment, and environmental compliance. The role involves building strong relationships with customers and local partners while driving growth and operational efficiency. Qualifications CMM, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field is important Minimum 5 years Experience in marina operations, sales, parts and service Leadership and team management skills, supervising staff and fostering a collaborative environment Operational expertise in marine services, haul out, facility management, environmental compliance Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control Customer service and relationship-building skills Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr BlueWater Marinas
