Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital is now hiring for a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Access to Johns Hopkins Credit Union and more. Location Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC. Schedule Mon-Fri. 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Pay Rate $59- $62 per hour (Based on location and experience). Key Responsibilities Perform all Nuclear Medicine imaging, uptake and dilution studies; assists with PET/CT imaging to provide quality diagnostic exams while providing a high level of patient care; prepares radiopharmaceutical kits and patient doses; complies with State regulations regarding handling of radioactive materials; schedules all exams to ensure exam appropriateness and provides communication to families and physicians; coordinates daily patient flow. Produces and evaluates images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of imaging exams and patients for treatment and plan of care. Adheres to image specific policies in regards to patient safety that are established by the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital regulatory, and accreditation governing bodies. Maintains required levels of education that pertain to clinical, family, and patient centered care. Complies with State of Florida regulations regarding receipt, handling, disposal and administration of radioactive materials. Demonstrates knowledge of various Nuclear Medicine equipment as well as PACs and RIS computer skills. Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Completion of an AMA accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program is required. 2 years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine is highly preferred. ARRT or NMTCB is required. Maryland License is required.
