The mechanical assembler is responsible for completing mechanical builds or operations throughout the manufacturing process. Essential Functions:
- Work from blueprints, operation sheets, rework and repair directives, and other written or verbal instructions
- Ability to braze copper joints for refrigerator circuits
- Generate, maintain and follow materials pulls and assembly floor schedules
- Maintain Status records
- Keep equipment and work area clean
- May require lifting and use of overhead hoist assembly
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of assembly experience required
- Ability to read and understand simple drawings; ability to read electrical schematics a plus
- Must have basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply and divide as well as calculate decimals and fractions
- Forklift experience (stand-up and sit-down) a plus
