HVAC Service Dispatcher - New Orleans

Overview Mechanical Concepts LLC seeks an organized, dependable HVAC Service Dispatcher to coordinate daily activities of our field service team. The role serves as the link between the office, technicians, customers, and vendors. Key Responsibilities Receive and respond to customer inquiries and service requests Dispatch and schedule field technicians based on priority and availability Coordinate preventive maintenance, service calls, repairs, and equipment startups Communicate job status and requirements with customers, technicians, and vendors Order materials for jobs as needed Monitor service issues and ensure timely resolution Manage maintenance schedules and provide updates as needed Follow up on after-hours calls as needed Review and verify technician hours and weekly time reports Invoice completed service calls and jobs Maintain accurate dispatch board, job notes, and open call status Provide coverage when technicians are absent Qualifications HVAC dispatching experience preferred; strong office experience considered High school diploma or equivalent required Strong communication and customer service skills Strong organization, time management, and prioritization ability Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, non-exempt position Paid bi-weekly, with overtime as needed Paid vacation Health insurance (50% company-paid for employee or family; eligibility after 90 days) Long-term disability coverage (60% of salary; 100% company-paid after 90 days) $20,000 company-paid life insurance (after 90 days) 401(k) after one year with up to 4% company match Profit-sharing contribution (historically funded) 8 paid holidays Full-time, in-office position in the Metairie / New Orleans area.
