Ultrasound Breast Sonographer

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8-hour shifts

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Breast Sonographer to join a dedicated breast imaging team. The Sonographer will perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations, provide excellent patient care, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

•Perform breast ultrasound exams using proper imaging protocols and positioning techniques.

•Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and provide pre- and post-exam instructions.

•Accurately document exam details in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

•Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

•Clean, disinfect, and maintain ultrasound equipment and exam rooms.

•Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels.

•Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and departmental safety guidelines.

•Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and certification requirements.

Requirements:

•Registered in Breast Sonography through ARDMS or ARRT, or willing to obtain breast certification within 90 days of hire.

•Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures and equipment.

•Experience with EMR and PACS systems preferred.

•Excellent patient care and communication skills.
