Responsibilities include:Process high-volume invoices and ensure accuracy in coding and approvalsThe AP Accountant will reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and research outstanding itemsMaintain organized vendor files and ensure proper general ledger coding for all transactionsSupport month-end close with AP reports, accruals, and general ledger reconciliationsThe AP Accountant will partner with procurement, operations, and finance teams to resolve invoice and payment issuesThe AP Accountant will ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standardsQualifications of the Accounts Payable Accountant RoleStrong Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environmentExperience with SAP or similar ERP systems requiredStrong Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysisKnowledge of general ledger processes and reconciliationsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and manage prioritiesStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and process-oriented mindset
