This position operates on a Night 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in the maternal and neonatal unit. The ideal candidate must have substantial clinical experience and must be capable of utilizing nursery skills effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery care for patients and their families.
• Manage patient care in the nursery, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize fetal monitoring techniques as per guidelines and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid NY license in hand.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in labor and delivery.
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Must have AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification within the last two years.
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from specific counties.
