Senior Director of Software Engineering

Leading cross-functional technology delivery teams, the full-time salaried Senior Director of Software Engineering will manage software development operations, champion AI-native engineering practices, and align technology delivery with business priorities in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Build and lead a multi-team engineering organization focused on continuous improvement and outcome-based metrics Advance AI-enabled engineering practices by integrating automation and AI tools into workflows Ensure alignment of teams with enterprise architecture and governance to enhance code quality and consistency Required qualifications 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 6 years in leadership roles; Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required, Master's preferred Extensive experience in designing and delivering complex software systems using modern technologies such as Java and cloud platforms Proven success in leading multiple teams to deliver enterprise software across distributed organizations Strong understanding of Lean and iterative delivery practices that support quality and continuous improvement Experience in healthcare or regulated industries with compliance and data privacy requirements preferred
