Automotive Service Technician

Wynne Volvo of Hampton is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Hampton, VA. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Volvo vehicles to ensure top performance and safety for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Volvo vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues. Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle problems and recommended services. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Stay updated on technical bulletins, recalls, and new service techniques. Qualifications Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably with Volvo vehicles. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or education preferred.
