DISC Surgery Center is seeking a per diem Overnight PACU RN for our Carlsbad  location. This position will have a varied schedule based on business needs, but most commonly on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays. Shifts are typically 6pm - 6am or 8pm - 8am.

In this position, you will:

• Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels
• Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• BCLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Proficiency in airway management and post-anesthesia recovery
• 2 years’ experience in PACU or ICU experience

Pay Range: $55.00 - $75.00/hour
