Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and initial evaluations of clients' mental health, guiding the development of tailored treatment plans. \n
- Provide a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families. \n
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to engage clients, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for therapy. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including client progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical and legal standards. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals to enhance client care, including psychiatrists and social workers. \n
- Participate in regular professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with advancements in mental health practices. \n
Your primary focus will be on supporting a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals and families from various backgrounds, offering culturally sensitive care that acknowledges and honors their unique experiences.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field. \n
- An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. \n
- A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting. \n
- Solid understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations related to the practice of counseling. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. \n
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems to manage client records efficiently. \n

- Specialization in areas such as trauma recovery, substance abuse, family dynamics, or couples counseling is highly desirable. \n
- Experience using telehealth technologies to deliver therapeutic services effectively. \n

- Annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. \n
