We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Director to lead and evolve the HR function for a manufacturing and distribution organization in the Memphis, TN area. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building HR infrastructure, strengthening core people processes, and supporting long-term organizational growth.

The HR Director will serve as a key partner to leadership while driving transformation across policies, procedures, talent management, compensation, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

Lead HR strategy and serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership

Design and implement HR policies, processes, and scalable infrastructure

Support organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development

Oversee talent management, performance systems, and succession planning

Conduct compensation analysis and support pay structure development

Help design and implement bonus and incentive programs

Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations

Support employee relations and organizational effectiveness initiatives

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive HR experience with leadership responsibility

Manufacturing and/or distribution industry experience required

Proven experience building or transforming HR systems and processes

Strong background in compensation analysis and talent strategy

Experience working closely with executive leadership teams

Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance best practices

Preferred Experience

Experience in mid-sized or privately held organizations

Exposure to high-growth or transformation environments

Experience designing bonus or incentive compensation programs
