Awake Overnight Assistant Supervisor

NFI Massachusetts Inc., a non-profit human services agency, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Awake Overnight Assistant Supervisor to join our team at Wilmington, MA. Our Milestone residential program support youth who are in need of temporary out-of-home placement and serve a range of populations including adolescents and transitional age youth (ages 12–22) with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges, often with histories of complex trauma. Youth are referred through the Department of Children and Families (DCF). About the Role: An Awake Overnight Assistant Residential Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting youth development by creating a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. Staff mentor and guide youth in developing life skills, building social and interpersonal competencies, and engaging in their communities. The ultimate goal is to prepare youth for successful transitions back into the community and towards greater independence. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead overnight shifts
• Administrative oversight of daily tasks and procures.
• Provide direct supervision and support to youth in a residential setting
• Remain awake throughout the entire shift and conduct routine bed checks.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment
• Serve as a positive role model, encouraging healthy decision-making
• Support youth with life skills, social-emotional development, and daily

routines

• Engage in crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality care and programming

Qualifications:

• Experience with adolescent population preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation required
