Shipping / Receiving Technician

Location: Stevensville, MI

Pay: $15/hour

Shift: Fulltime, M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job Summary

Responsible for picking and packing of customer orders, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 

Responsibilities

• Accurately picks materials for customer orders and packs the materials for shipment
• Ensures compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures
• Completes hazardous materials (DOT/IATA) training
• Processes/tracks customer orders in computer software
• Schedule freight shipments, when necessary
• Assists with investigation of customer complaints as related to shipping
• Assist with daily inventory counts and production when needed
• Assist with Investigation of customer complaints and any inventory discrepancies related to shipping
• Performs inventory adjustments
• Performs additional duties as required by Shipping Manager

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Simple math skills
• Lifting up to 50 lbs daily
• Keeping work area clean and orderly
• HS or GED required
• Time management/performs well under pressure
• Accuracy and efficiency are imperative
• Multi-tasking is 80% of the position
