Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Full-Time Emergency Department Registered Nurse position supports the organization's emergency care team, delivering comprehensive, evidence-based patient care across all age groups. The role requires rapid assessment, triage, and advanced interventions in a high-acuity setting, collaborating closely with physicians, trauma teams, and interdisciplinary staff. Compensation up to $50/hr reflects the critical nature of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a high-acuity setting
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and advanced clinical interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, and interdisciplinary staff
• Perform rapid patient assessments and document accurate clinical findings
• Respond effectively to critical situations, including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support patient stabilization and treatment
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license in Idaho
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• 2 years emergency department or critical care experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to quickly adapt in high-pressure or rapidly changing patient situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
