Full-Time position available at Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group in San Diego, California. Join a multi-specialty group of over 800 providers in a city known for its sandy beaches, great weather, major attractions, and outdoor activities. Group has 19 clinic locations throughout San Diego, with ophthalmology services offered at 7 site locations. SRSMG is a large, multi-specialty group that offers patients convenient, coordinated, and integrated care across 29 different specialties in medicine. All clinics have a lead RN, triage RN, LVNs, and a 1:1 Provider/MA ratio plus an operations team. Integrated EMR system allows for seamless communication among group PCP's & specialists.

Requirements/Preferred Experience:

• Must be board-eligible/board-certified physician in Ophthalmology
• Completion of a Medical Retina Fellowship is required to join our Ophthalmology division
• Comfortable administering Intravitreal injections

Position Details:

• 4-day workweek schedule
• Average patient load is 20-25 patients/day
• New consults, Follow-Up, Post-Ops, Office based surgery/minor procedures
• Practice will be 50% General Ophthalmology and 50% Medical Retina (no cataract surgery)
• General call for the department (with sub-specialty back up in all areas) is taken 1 week at a time, approximately 4-5 weeks per year
• User friendly work schedule with excellent support staff and collegial work environment
• If fellow, will be required to become board certified within first two years of employment
• Salary Range: $300,000-$558,000+ Salary range may include productivity/bonuses. Compensation is subject to the individual department compensation plans. Additional information is discussed during the recruitment process
