Retail Pharmacist - Epworth, Iowa

Job Description

A contract pharmacist position is available in Epworth, IA, offering an opportunity to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care in a retail setting. The role focuses on safe and accurate dispensing of medications, coupled with effective patient counseling to promote optimal health outcomes.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
Shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications safely and efficiently under direct supervision
Ensure accuracy in medication delivery to all customers
Provide counseling and advice to patients regarding their medications and treatment regimens

Qualifications:

Active and clear Pharmacist license in Iowa; temporary IA Pharmacist license holders are also welcome to apply
Minimum of one year experience in a retail pharmacy environment
